Image Colorscope

The image colorscope shows you the distribution of colors in an image file based on saturation/value and hue. This can help improve your artwork by letting you identify the color range of an image or photograph in order to produce art with a similar mood.

For example, many "photorealistic" images restrict use of saturated colors at high (bright) values, while cartoony images can use colors across the range.
